Year 7 – Week 39 – Day 7

When the day is seriously hot…

…we decide to try an experiment!

Starting dough

After 2 hours in the sun

3hrs of cook time. They didn’t brown, and it makes them look weird. But they cooked up to a nice texture and they tasted fantastic.

It did not make the car smell anywhere near as good as I hoped, and it did not last. Without the browning sugar, there wasn’t the heavenly smell. I don’t think we will do this again unless the oven is broken!

  1. I haven’t commented in awhile, and I’m going to make this one a little different.
Maybe one day grown-up Brendan and grown-up Trevor will read this blog documenting their childhoods, and read all of the comments.
So, I want you both to know how much time and effort, and most of all, love, your Mommy puts into this for you…and for all of us who don’t get to see you every day. It shows us what really cool things you do, places you go to, tells us about your friends, and everything we love to hear about who you are. It shows us how much you grow, and how much more handsome you get with every blog post. We learn about what you say that’s silly, what you like and don’t like, sad things, happy things, how well you do in school.
This is a priceless record of your lives, and some day you will value it, and have knowledge of yourselves that most of us will never know.
But, most of all, I want you to know how much Gramma loves you both! ❤️🧡❤️ I value every moment I get to be with you. You make me smile and laugh, and feel loved. You’re very special boys who will no doubt grow to be very special men. I am the luckiest Gramma in the world to call you my grandsons.
Biggest hugs, lots of kisses, and lots of love,
    Gramma xoxoxoxo 😘🤗💕
