We have been counting down the days for months and it is finally here! Trip to Gramma’s house! Wednesday the 17th, we caught an early flight. Like peel the boys out of bed at 4am and get to the airport early. Brendan seems pretty chipper for such an early morning.

We arrived in time for afternoon showers. The boys immediately donned their raincoats and ran around in the the soft green grass.

Thursday, Erin and the boys came to visit. The stairs turned into a hotwheels raceway.

Friday we decided to try the “Barefoot Bay” in Mundelein. It was pretty splashtastic. Since the weather was so hot and humid, the cool pool was the place to be.

Gramma didn’t want to get her hair wet! Ha ha!

Poor Gizmo has been overwhelmed with the number of loud rowdy boys in the house. The boys also are trying to give him some quiet attention.

Gramma has a beautiful new remodel in her family room! It is so different!

We have a busy exciting week ahead!
