It was another scorcher today. We went out before 8am to get our grocery shopping done and it was already 100 degrees. I called for a fireman rescue but he was too busy hanging out in the freezer section being a crab!
As soon as we got groceries put away, I took Trevor for a swim. Either the sun was a lot worse than I expected (at 9:30am!) and my sunscreen application really was terrible, or Trevor had a reaction to the sunscreen. His little cheeks have been splotchy red and bumpy all day. Poor kid!
He did have a good time swimming, the water was 89 degrees!

Brendan was busy at home seeing how he could get in to trouble

I would say that I put Trevor in time out, but someone would turn me in for child abuse. He totally took out all the shelves and tots and got in to the cabinet all by himself, and he thought it was hilarious.

The boys each have a new pillow for their bed tonight. Trevor was beyond excited about the pillow, especially since his has little frogs on it. He rolled around with it for 20 minutes at bedtime tonight and finally fell asleep with his feet up on his fish.
Brendan is still up, refusing to sleep!
How much is that Trevor in the window?…”I do hope that Trevor’s for sale”! I would buy him!
I like Brendan’s Mr. Tough Guy face! It scares me! 🙂 He is so funny with all of his new faces. He’s practicing for a new therapist to show up!!
Trevor’s rashy face could just be the super hot sun…a little “sun-poisoning”. Or like you said, it could be the sunscreen. I just heard a report on the news that even with sunscreen, you can’t totally block the sun, you’d have to use the whole bottle…every 15 minutes!!
Another day of cute pictures! Whether crabby, smiling, practicing naughty faces, or being silly, the boys are adorable, and the highlight of my day to see.

Last night it was significantly cooler, and the wind was blowing so hard up in Kenosha, Wi., that several trees were blown away … … … OK the trees were on my modules, not full size. 😉 🙂 It was still a good train show ! 🙂 🙂
