We are cruising full speed in to the last week of having one-year-olds. Brendan totally stressed me out this morning by having an irregular/rough start starting around 4am. He had the signs and symptoms that usually are the onset of illness. He pulled it together though and had a pretty good day and a totally normal evening.
Brendan got to go outside and play this morning

Trevor had to do chores instead! 🙂
Laundry

Brendan had to get a bath in the sink because he threw up while playing. (Part of his rough morning experience)

Trevor at least got to go outside and see the recycle truck. He heard the signal when nobody else did and came to tell me it was time to go outside. He was insistent!

Then more outside time. Boys in box fort

Gramma, Trevor and I did some shopping. Brendan wanted to go too!

There was plenty of crabbiness today, even with Gramma here! I had to blow bubbles to keep Trevor happy to get dinner in him. He was a bubble catcher.

Brendan was watching the fun too

We had to take the bubbles to the bath too! Trevor kind of likes them!
Trevor thinks we can’t find him so he doesn’t have to go to bed

Brendan seems to be doing well tonight. No more scares!!! That boy had better stay healthy!

It was really great to be able to spend the day with Brendan and Trevor, even with a little crabbiness, a couple of tantrums (accompanied by timeouts), and a few brotherly squabbles! There was also lots of smiles and giggles, running and playing, bubbles, books, shopping, and hugs and kisses!
I am so happy that the boys seem to remember me so we don’t waste any time getting reacquainted. They are super smart, very silly, and very loving and affectionate boys. Tiffanie and Bill are doing a great job! Their constant hard work and devotion to their little boys is amazing.
I couldn’t be happier to be the Gramma of such wonderful and special boys. 🙂
Lots and lots of love,
Gramma xxxx
