Year 2 – Week 52 – Day 5

It was just a Monday, and it was very nice to have help! Gramma is working hard and the boys are still keeping all of us hopping.

Trevor knocks on Gramma’s house

She took him for a walk to play in dirt

He is waiting on the corner

We played outside as much as possible. Brendan is signing “swing”. He does a good job with a tough sign

He loves to slide

Trevor runs monster trucks

He has to work on his jeep

While Trevor was occupied, Brendan got to play with some peanut M&Ms. He even licked them.

We discovered that wet M&Ms can be used for painting!

“Being such an artist is exhausting!”

What is this, a Halloween monster?

No, it is Brendan trying out some new space jammies!

They made him hyper. He wanted to be super silly and walk and run around until 10PM tonight, and even then he fought going to bed. I am doing an experiment to see if keeping his legs warmer helps him sleep better with better numbers. He does not like to be covered with blankets.

RAWRRR!

  1. Even though I took all of the pictures (except space jammies), I still love to see the blog because the pictures look so good when Tiffanie chooses the ones she wants to use and adds captions, and puts them in order to sum up the day! And, believe it or not, the boys are twice as cute in person as they are in pictures, even though I am not at all biased! 😉
Brendan and Trevor have both grown so much since I was here in June. They are also so much “older”. I can’t believe the things they can do that they couldn’t before. Brendan can show me how to do things on their iPad that I don’t know how to do!! And his walking improves every day! Trevor is also a whiz on the iPad. He is saying new words every day. I am so happy to be able to spend time with them so I don’t miss out on their “babyhood”. They are already turning into little boys!
Lots of love (still giving my own hugs!),

  2. Cute pictures – Trevor tapping on gramma’s door is a riot. so cute. Brendan in those PJ’s is precious. Can’t wait to see them on Saturday. They sure do look like two little boys – very good looking boys!

  3. Good morning from the East Coast!! What a delightful blog!! I agree, Trevor knocking on Gramma’s door is precious!! Hope he was able to fix his jeep. Brendan’s antics in his PJ’s just makes you smile!! And his M&M picture shows great potential! Wishing you a fun day!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂
