Year 3 – Week 21 – Day 7

This morning, Trevor and I were going to take a “real quick” trip to the mall to pick up a gift card. We went early so the stores weren’t quite open when we got there, so we did about 28 trips up and down the three sets of escalators. Trevor loves the mall.

Of course, now that he has been introduced to The Lego Store, he will be begging to go every day. He was just captivated by this place. Our five minute visit turned in to two solid hours of sitting at the building table and playing with Legos.

Ummm…gift cards come in large packages these days..

When we got home, I had to get Trevor fed and put to bed. When he woke up, he was eager to open his new box. I originally intended to keep it to be another potty bribe, but I didn’t have to worry about that. He had a big poop-on-potty success! He told me in time to get him on, we were so proud of him!

He played with his new Duplo car set for at least two more hours.

If anyone would come in to the playroom (Brendan, nurse, Bill, or even Eins), Trevor would say, “Bye!! Bye-bye!! Bye, Trevor!” He was afraid they wanted to play with the cars too.

Brendan had a good day, he will have to get in some Lego time when Trevor isn’t looking.

Brendan’s hair has been coming in sooooo slowly, but for some reason, he has always had this patch on the back of his head that grows out fast. It was getting a little out of control!

Instead of trying to trim it with any accuracy, I just put a 3/4in guard on my clippers and buzzed it off! Bill had to hold him tight and it took all four hands to manage it, so we have no pictures of the hair cutting process.

Here’s a few of the after-bath antics and Brendan’s Daddy-tackling fun

He wore his trach cap with no oxygen for two solid hours tonight!! His numbers were great!

  1. Good morning from the East Coast!! Tiffanie and Bill, you have come a long way!! Kudos and love to amazing parents!! Watching Brendan’s video again is mind boggling and is filled with beautiful, loving moments!! Just love Trevor’s passion for Legos, it shows in the post! Good luck with the potty training, Trevor is looking more like a “little boy”, rapidly leaving toddler-hood!! Prayers, hugs and love!! 🙂

  2. 🙂 🙂 Trevor at the “Building Table”………lots of hand-eye coordination, and creative-imagination, development, going on there.

Brendan’s smile, what a great way to start off the day, seeing that on this blog.
