My hosting company for this web site has been having network issues all day. I am relieved that it is up long enough right now to get this post in!
We just tried to do cleanup, organizing, and laundry today. Trevor took a really long nap too, so the madness was a little less.
I tried to do a little holiday craft with the boys this afternoon. It seemed to be going really well in the beginning. I had high hopes.

Then Brendan just wanted to sweep the table clear, snatch things from Trevor, and sit on the table. He was not happy when I told him ‘no’. Trevor was crying and yelling “No Bwendinzeeeyah!!” (Brendanzilla is what I call monster B that stomps through and crashes everything, especially geotrax setups)

Mr. Attitude does not want craft time

One of these things is not like the others

I think Brendan looks so cute in his pajama pants. I am trying to get a video of his new dance moves, but he has not been cooperative.

I will post more pictures of this project later, I am nervous about the site going down while I am typing!
Bill’s secret steel work has been a gate for our front patio. Years ago when we built the wall and sitting area, we wanted to put up some ornamental ironwork and a gate in the archway. We hoped we would spend cool evenings outside and that the dogs could come out with us.
Now Eins REALLY enjoys being able to come out. The boys can play and I can worry less about them taking off down the driveway. 🙂
Bill did a fabulous job exactly recreating the concept that I sketched for him. We had limitations on design because it had to be safe for toddlers – no climbing opportunities and no openings for heads to get stuck!

We found these little solar lights that will be approx every two feet down the whole wall.

I’m glad you got in your blog! Your record goes on for not missing a day! 🙂
Great job on the gate…the design, the execution, the finish work…everything is great! 🙂
I love your “one of these things is not like the other” picture! hahahaha!
Brendan does look adorable in his red plaid pants. Maybe they are “naughty pants?? 😉 Oh wait, he wasn’t in them until after the naughtiness!
Trevor looks so cute with his “little bill” haircut. He’s really concentrating on decorating his egg.
Hope you got some rest last night. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the time change. 🙂
Lots of love and hugs, I miss you all.

Bill is so clever, the gate is great and your design is perfect.
The boys look like they were really into the craft and making great Easter eggs until Brendan lost it. Great pictures.
Finally !! I figured out how to correct the partially loading pictures ! Just right click on the tab, and select “reload tab” 😮 🙂 🙂 🙂
The gate is awesome (( insert three “thumbs-up” smilies here )) well thought out and excellently crafted !
“Dump” 😮 😮 All I could think of was ‘egg’ all over everything 😮
The one little patch of flowers, by the front steps, have grown to about six inches in height. They are always the first sign of the beginning of Spring, and it won’t be much longer before the trees start to leaf out again.
May 31st – June 1st is the annual Kenosha train show…… I’ll have to get something done on the modules, before then.
