Year 3 – Week 27 – Day 2

I am very happy to say that Brendan had an outstanding night of good sleep, and he had a perfect barf-free day on his new formula. What a difference!
Of course, it is too early to celebrate success, but it is a start. Now I can have a few nights where I feel horrible guilt about not pushing for something like this sooner. He has been on that old formula for over a year and has had moderate struggles the whole time, although it was much worse recently. I hate thinking that he has suffered needlessly.
But we move on and hope with all our might that he just gets better and better from here.

We didn’t get a chance to celebrate the half-birthday yesterday, so while we were out today, we picked up a treat. Trevor chose this.

Brendan might have chosen something different.

He did warm up to the idea and stacked donuts for a while.

YUM!

You all ate the whole box? Yes.

Good to the last sprinkle.

Teasing Trevor, and our chocolate donut penalty

It was COLD outside this evening (OK, it was 68) but we still enjoyed some time on the patio. It was very windy and tried to rain a bit.
The truth about who really built the gate:

Brendan is peacefully asleep – here’s hoping for another solid night!

  1. Good morning from the East Coast!! Awesome post!! No-vomit Brendan, full of smiles and a delightful crazy fun Trevor!! Needed popcorn for the video….watched it a few times! Nice job on the gate boys!!! Prayers, hugs and love! 🙂

  2. Cold outside…Hahahahaha! That would be shorts weather and feel like summer here right now! 🙂
The video is really good! Happy half-birthday to Brendan and Trevor! It was very amusing, loved it! 🙂
Clearly, all the boys needed Bill to do for the gate was the welding! They got your design just right. 😉
So glad to hear the new formula could be the answer to Brendan’s tummy issues. He must feel better.
Hope you had another good night, and every night from now on.
    Lots of love and hugs,

  3. 🙂 🙂 What Gramma said…….especially the bit about ” That would be shorts weather and feel like summer here right now! ” 😉 🙂
Warmer weather, is, coming, and I have to get my bicycle “overhauled” for the first time since …… it’s lower impact exercise, I don’t think my old bones could handle running all that well. 😉 🙂
Yay Brendan !!! 🙂 🙂 hope the new formula ” turns the corner ” and healthier days are ahead.
    Boing…..”Chocolate Donut Penalty “……boing 🙂 🙂 🙂
