Year 3 – Week 46 – Day 4

I am too tired to try to sum up the day so I will let the pictures do most of the talking.

Arizona has been slammed with record-breaking rain and flooding. 5.2 inches overnight! It is still raining today, our backyard is totally flooded.

On top of that, our air conditioning went out. Bill had to take Brendan out to the trailer to “chill” in the A/C out there.

We have a most generous and amazing friend who drove from North Phoenix to climb on to the roof tonight and take a look at the problem. One fan motor later and the AZ boys are back to chillin’ inside. We are beyond grateful to you, Mike!

  1. There were so many cute pictures today amidst all of the things we had to do, and how unbelievably fast the day went.
I love the sequence of Trevor giving Caleb his haircut. Nice job, Trevor! The boys are all so cute together. They sure have a lot of fun, make big messes in a hurry, don’t want to take naps, and yet bring such silliness, giggles, and say the funniest things!! 🙂 I’m so glad they are all here to offset a very difficult and emotional time in all of our lives.
Today we say goodbye for the final time to Great-Grandma. There’s are no words to say how much she will be missed. I love you, Mom.
Lots of love and appreciation to my my wonderful family for all of the love, support, and hugs they are giving me,

  2. Good morning from the East Coast. The posts from yesterday and today are wonderful. Tiffanie, we are relieved that Bill is back inside your home with Brendan. We have been concerned for your family with the tremendous rains in AZ. As all of say your final goodbyes to Grandma, remember that we are with you in spirit. Sending virtual hugs, love, prayers and sympathy. What a gift, with all of being there supporting each other. Just know that Grandma is smiling! You all have an amazing Guardian Angel watching over you! 🙂
