There’s good news and not so good news today.
Good news: We had our 90-day review with the state, nursing hours will not be changed for the next 90 day period. Big sigh of relief!
Not so good news: Brendan’s glasses aren’t ready yet. I should get an update tomorrow, I hope we don’t have to wait until next week.
Brendan’s nurse was out sick today, and then after a total nap fail, I took the boys to Joann and bought a craft that we can work on for the next week or more. This little Polar Express kit has five wooden train cars to paint. We will add lots of extra embellishments from my craft stash and then put it under our tree this year. The boys love to paint, they got the roofs of two cars done. I hope their interest lasts.
While I was trying to set up the painting area, Trevor was trying to get into the box.
For a moment there I thought the boys had changed their names to “Michael and Angelo” – – – – – must have been the excellent job of “painting” they were doing 😉 😉 😉
Seriously, they did look like “professional painters”. 🙂 🙂
They’re painting their train, I’m taking mine to Milwaukee.
Today is set-up day for Trainfest.
That’s great news about your nursing hours not getting changed for now, I’m really happy for all of you! 🙂
The boys look like they’ll have fun with their painting project, and I’ll keep my fingers crossed that Brendan’s glasses are ready soon. He might like them to work on his project, so it could help with the adjustment.
It was nice to see a blog this morning, especially with news you were hoping for…and the nice nurses that care about Brendan so much.
