Another crazy weekend has gone by! First we were having company, then we weren’t having company, and then we ended up having lightning fast company after all!
We went to Sam’s Club to get ready for company. The boys love to go get something from the Free-osk, then tour the samples! Pound cake with berries and Ready Whip? Yum!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Kevin! Sorry you couldn’t make it after all. We enjoyed a big pot roast on your behalf.
We went to the airport anyway because I had promised the boys we would ride the Sky Train.

Look who we found!? Aunt Heather was just changing planes on her way home to Texas, but her layover in Phoenix was just long enough to pop out and give some hugs!

Today we wanted to go to the zoo. Brendan did NOT WANT sunscreen.

The zoo was ridiculously crowded so we didn’t even try to go in. We prepared to go to the zoo splash pads, so we found a playground and splash pad elsewhere.
Funny thing is, the boys didn’t want to go in the water! Trevor went in the mist a little but didn’t get wet!

They had plenty of fun on the playground.

We found this little Buy/Sell/Trade game store that has a huge bin of loose Legos for sale. I made the mistake of taking the boys in once. Brendan spent the rest of the day BEGGING to go to the game store. BEGGING every minute. “Go in car!!” “Go game STOOOOOORE”
I caved and took him. They are closed on Mondays!
We wish the very best for a speedy recovery to Uncle Robert in New York. Love and healing hugs from Arizona!

A trip to the airport and you came home with no one?? It was nice that you got to see Bill’s sister to say hi.
Kayla, Ashley and I have one more day in Pittsburgh. Tomorrow we’re going to the Science Center. Kieran has been having fun with his cousins!
It’s very cold here, so 88 degrees sounds good to me! At home in IL we got snow today! Where is Spring?
I like Brendan’s “no sunscreen” pictures! All of the airport pictures and waterpad pictures are cute, too.
I’m sending “Gramma hugs and kisses”. That’s what Kieran has been telling me he wants me to give him! And lots of love to all!
Good morning from the East Coast, a balmy 30 degrees!! Just loved all the pictures…especially Brendan’s “no sunscreen”….I do the same thing Brendan!! Sunscreen is yucky, albeit necessary 🙁 Felt so bad for the boys when I read that the store was closed!! Go figure!! At least you had a nice trip and saved yourself some money. Haha!! Prayers are needed for Uncle Robert…thanks so miuch!!! Hugs, love and prayers!! 🙂
