Week 26?! Wow. The boys are officially four and a HALF on the 25th.
We have been keeping busy with all of the regular routine. I only have a few pictures from the “Owl Picnic” we went to. It was actually a HopeKids picnic sponsored by General Mills. They had pizza and hot dogs, drinks and treats, face painting, bouncy houses, and bird encounters!
Brendan met a Scarlet Macaw and actually got to pet him.
There was a Great Horned Owl named Robert and a one-eyed hawk named One-Eyed Jack.
We had hoped for a better picture with the owl, but the handlers were also serving popcorn and cotton candy to the masses and were very busy. Weird.
Brendan made another little friend.
The weather could not have been more perfect for the picnic. Now we are creeping in to the 90s every day.
Trevor made a robot for school today for Earth Day. It was entirely out of recycled materials. I will have to get pictures for the next post. The teacher loved it so much, she asked to borrow it for the classes tomorrow. 🙂
Great pictures ! The last two, ;)………….don’t be surprised if the next time you ask Brendan why he did something…….He’ll say ” A little bird told me ” 🙂 🙂
Brendan and Trevor are really growing up, and I love to see that they are learning so much from their experiences, and having fun doing it. Their Granddad is as proud of them, as he is of all his other grandchildren.
Wow….4 1/2!!
Brendan sure doesn’t mind having the birds near him or on him! But….where is Trevor?? 🙂
I can’t wait to see Trevor’s robot. It must be really cool since the teacher wanted to keep it to show it off.
I’m glad to hear you had a nice day for the picnic. Brendan has sch big smiles. I love the ones of him and his “new friend”.
Our weather goes up and down like a yo-yo! One day it’s summer, and the next day it’s winter again. At least everyhing is turning green now and blooming.
Lots of love and hugs and kisses!

The birds seemed to be the highlight of his day! I amazed how close he was to them and how calm the birds seemed to remain. Fun times in the bounce house surely made for a quiet evening at home lol. Every other day I am jealous of your weather, but then we get a small taste of it, just in time for the temp to drop again…..Midwest shenanigans at their finest!!
What a fun filled day Earth Day must have been for Trevor! I cannot wait to see the robot!
Good morning from the East Coast!! What a fun post!! Very happy that life has been more “routine” and posts are further apart! That means the boys have been happily busy and you have had a breather!! 🙂 We too have had strange weather!! But, spring is springing, the birds are chirping and all is status quo!! It is wonderful seeing the boys having fun and please do post Trevor’s robot!! Hugs, prayers and love!!!! 🙂
