We made it through Tuesday! There are some changes coming this week that I am looking forward to. Today was extremely busy, Trevor kept me on my toes all day with his activity and he was a little extra clingy because his teeth hurt.
Whenever Trevor was asleep, Brendan and I had play time. I got him down on the floor and put him on sprint for 3 hours today. He did great!
I didn’t have a lot of chances to grab the camera today, the only picture I took of Brendan was him sleeping on me. I try to give him “tummy time” and a chance to lift his head up without getting his trach pulled.

He had a lot of smiles for me, it was good to see. He also played hard today. He was very interested in grabbing toys and sitting up with Trevor.
Trevor gets stronger every day with his pulling up and he is working on his balance. He is trying to figure out how to get down from standing and right now, he just does a controlled flop on to his butt. His physical therapist tried to show him to use his knees, but he doesn’t want to.
If I try to leave the room with him in his crib awake, he leaps right up. We will have to drop the mattress one more level down!

So happy to hear that Brendan is having good days. When I was there, you’d have 40-80 pictures a day to choose from!!
I was just talking to Marsha about you needing to lower Trevor’s crib. She said it looked like he was about ready to climb out! He looks so cute standing in his bed. You can see the mischief in his eyes!
Hugs and kisses to the babies, and love to all.

Look Ma! No hands! Mr. Independent has no interest in some therapist’s ideas – he will do it all himself. I would love to see the controlled flop. That must be a riot. I am glad that Brendan is doing so well with his sprints. He has such a strong spirit, and it is nice to see and hear that he can be a happy baby for a while. Any more string cheese meals?
