Year 2 – Week 16 – Day 3

The boys got a lot of Daddy-time today while I worked on finishing up some very old projects. It feels good to close out some things that have been part-done for a couple of years.

Trevor was a little off-season today. (Not Daddy’s doing!) These adorable jammies were the perfect weight and size for the weather today and they won’t fit him when next Halloween comes around. So he was my little pumpkin today. Once it warms up, these will have to go in the cousin-box.

The little pumpkin got a Valentine’s card in the mail today from Gramma! (Trevor loves to go to the mailbox every day)

And now he wants me to take him shopping! (We are going out tomorrow anyway)

Brendan loved his card too. He played with it for a long time.

Then he went back to the book that makes noise!

Eins is on the other side of the window playing peek with Trevor

Definitely time for some child-proof doorknob covers.

  1. Pumpkins and Valentine Hearts … interesting combination! So, the Valentines shouldn’t have arrived until at least Monday, but got there today, and the package you sent here on January 29th is back in California!! Anyway, Trevor looked very colorful, and I’m glad the boys liked getting their own mail. 🙂
Brendan looks very cute no matter what he is wearing…or not wearing, since he likes hanging around in his diaper!
I will look forward to seeing the pumpkins on the Pittsburgh Pumpkin near Halloween !
    Lots of love,
    Gramma

  2. The boys are looking better each day. Thank you for getting me logged on to this site.
If your not careful Trevor will be out the back door and mowing the lawn.
Brendan is getting stronger by the day he will be bossing Trevor around before you know it.
You and Bill are doing a fantastic job.

  3. Trevor, if you are going to wear pumpkin jammies, then you need to work on your trick-or-treating skills! At least start practicing the sad little begging eyes!
It won’t be long until Trevor figures out that doorknob. Then it’s time to teach him how to scoop the backyard clean….I love Brendan’s casual reading pose. That’s how I feel on a Saturday afternoon!
