Happy Labor Day! Bill had the day off, I hope anyone else that had a holiday today was able to enjoy it. Bill got a lot of work done on the mountain of to-do list projects, so it wasn’t especially relaxing but it was productive.<\/p>\n

By some miracle, the boys actually played nicely together for a while this morning.

They both went down easily for a nap….until….there was a big storm with really loud thunder. It didn’t seem to disturb the boys at all, but then the dogs came blasting in the house, went through the kitchen (which they never do!) and in to the living room with their wet feet on the wood floors. They both slipped and crashed, sent toys flying everywhere, and then there was the sound of their nails scrambling and clacking as they tried to get up. It was like the noise of a bowling alley. Of course Brendan startled awake and was done with his 10min nap. Trevor stirred enough from that noise that the next rumble of thunder woke him the rest of the way and he was scared. So much for rest!
\nThey had to come jump in Brendan’s bed for a while.
