We did it! We had our first successful camping trip. The only thing we forgot was this thing:

We also did not bring any extra formula for Brendan, so we had to leave first thing in the morning. Otherwise, we had everything we needed.<\/p>\n

We camped in full-exposure scrubby desert this time. Next time, we will drive farther and get to prettier trees and cooler weather. Even though it was only upper 70’s in temperature, the sun was brutal. The boys did a good job wearing their hats, but even with sunscreen Trevor managed to get pink on his face and neck. He was outside so much!<\/p>\n

Trevor LOVES the ramp and wants to run up and down over and over. He also likes to release the food truck to zoom down the hill

Trevor says “Cactus are very sharp” – He had his first encounter with a small ball of cholla sticking in his hand. He managed very well though.

We kept him slathered in sunscreen and he kept up his Burts Bees application

Brendan was stuck inside often while he had to be connected to his food pump

Brendan actually took a nap in the trailer. We didn’t even try to put Trevor in bed.

During some inside down time, the boys found a stash of stuffed animals. They played with an old favorite

Trevor cleaned up toys with tongs, it was a good game

This morning, Trevor slept in!
\n\"322t17\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Brendan had a rough evening with what seemed to be tummy ache\/gassiness and overstimulation, but he slept OK. He woke in a good mood
