Today was totally unexpected. Due to some scheduling issues, we didn’t have a nurse today. After Brendan had another really bad night with restlessness, crying, pain and vomiting, I was really worried about how I was going to make it through.
\nI started him on plain pedialyte and some prunes pushed in to his tube. (He hadn’t pooped since Monday morning!) Not only did he have two giant poops this morning (I know, too much information), but he had a perfect day without so much as a gag.
\nI really wish that he handled his formula as well as the pedialyte. Unfortunately, over 24hrs, he will get only 120 calories from his pedialyte instead of the 900 he should get from formula.<\/p>\n

The boys were very good to me today, and I am so happy Brendan felt well. He took a great nap too.<\/p>\n

It cooled down today. Yesterday was 98 degrees!! Today the high was 88, so the mornings and the evenings were gorgeous. We were outside as much as possible.
\nTrevor is teaching Brendan how to shake hands and say “How do you do?”

He is a tough teacher
\n\"326bt18\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But kind and loving too

Brendan is taking a break on the time out rock

He must have naughty things planned, and was paying in advance

He wore his cap for hours today, no oxygen, doing great. Not a single gag, choke, or spew.

We are weaning the formula back in again. Maybe with his gut all cleaned out, he will get back to normal. He has to be well for Kieran to visit! It is coming up so soon!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
