<\/a><\/p>\nThe strange part is that once they left, I was alone in my house for the first time in three years. Whether Gramma was here helping, Bill was home, a nurse was here, or whatever, there is almost someone else here, most often the two boys. Maybe it has happened before for a few minutes, but today I had a couple of hours.
\nIt was creepy at first, and almost stressful. I felt lots of pressure to do something important and productive and not just sleep or read. <\/p>\n
I ended up working on the “great purge”, trying to organize, reduce, and clean. I wanted to set up and photograph things to put on ebay, which is nearly impossible when the boys are “helping”.
\nI got through a lot of sorting, but everyone came home and within 2 minutes, all the cleanup and prep I had done was undone! The rest of the day just went downhill in a big hairball of frustration.<\/p>\n
It was a treat to have a little time, and I am thankful that Bill was willing to take the boys to play. I am also always appreciating that Brendan is able to get out more. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
