Happy New Year! <\/p>\n

Yesterday should have been fun, we even had some little sparklers and simple fountains to light to celebrate. We had to skip it all. The day just turned into a crabby-boy chaos filled catastrophe of an evening. We tried to put the boys to bed early, but they were up even later than usual.<\/p>\n

Today, we drove the boys up a mere 65 miles away to the mountain area where we were on Sunday. The temperatures have been unusually low, and there has been snow in AZ down to pretty low elevations. Even some areas in town got some flurries. The mountains got lots!
\nSnow time!!
\nThe boys got to try out their snow gear. It all worked great – totally dry on the inside when we were done!

Brendan was not thrilled with the snow. I was surprised that he actually liked getting all bundled up in the gear. He just didn’t like the snow.

This is what I love about AZ. If you love to play in snow, it doesn’t take long to get to it. But it isn’t ever piled up on my driveway!<\/p>\n

The boys just have one more little message for their awesome little cousin that turned TWO today!
