{"id":1860,"date":"2012-04-04T21:50:38","date_gmt":"2012-04-05T04:50:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/?p=1860"},"modified":"2012-04-04T21:52:34","modified_gmt":"2012-04-05T04:52:34","slug":"week-24-day-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/2012\/04\/04\/week-24-day-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 24 &#8211; Day 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brendan had another pretty good day, but it was such a busy day!<\/p>\n<p>He had some time like this, I just want to scoop him up and run away with him when he feels like this<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24b05.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19\" title=\"Week 24 - 24b05.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24b05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He had some time like this, although not as much as he should&#8230;but it is getting better!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24b06.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19\" title=\"Week 24 - 24b06.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24b06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He had tons of people in and out of his room all day, it is amazing he got in naps at all.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24b07.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19\" title=\"Week 24 - 24b07.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24b07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He got switched over to an LTV1000 ventilator today, which is the kind that we will use to bring him home. It works differently than the big expensive hospital ventilators, so it took some tweaking to get him settled in.  The respiratory techs and intensivists and pulmonologist all had to come fiddle with it and put in their two cents. There was also a trach-tube inventory completed so that the seven extra pieces that were incorrect could be removed from the room.<br \/>\nHere he has some new tubing to go with the home vent. It will further simplify when the suction piece is removed.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24b08.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19\" title=\"Week 24 - 24b08.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24b08.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Trevor was on the move again today!  No naps for Trevor!!!  Maybe 10 minute snoozes here and there.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24t06.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19\" title=\"Week 24 - 24t06.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24t06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Look at this face though, how can you be mad at him!!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24t07.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19\" title=\"Week 24 - 24t07.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/projectbat.com\/minibat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/24t07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have a Trevor video but I will have to upload it for tomorrow&#8217;s blog.
