Here are a few random pictures that have nowhere to go. The McDonalds near the house that we lovingly called “Crazy M” used to have this giant play structure with multi-levels of tubes and slides and capsules in the air. They took it all down and remodeled. In its place is this wee little play structure in the corner of the enormous play room. So much wasted space…

I can only think that it was too much work to clean that other structure. While I appreciate sanitary play areas, this is pretty lame in comparison to what is once was!

On Sunday the 22nd, we took a family bike ride around ASU Research Park. There are many cool little spots for hanging out around the ponds.

That afternoon, we had a heart-kids picnic to go to in Scottsdale. Since we were right nearby, we stopped in to Arizona Falls.

I really like this place. The boys still hate it! I am not sure if they were just tired from the picnic, or they didn’t like the roaring water noise.

I carried Brendan up from the car on my shoulders because he was worn out. Right as we got up to the falls, I slipped on some mud and fell on my butt right in to a slimy moldy puddle. Brendan was unharmed. I was OK too, except for the muddy ooze covering most of my backside. I still took some photos damnit.

This is really a neat place to visit. Maybe I will give it a few more years and try again. Just watch out for the puddles!
