This is one of those days that needs to get swept under the rug and forgotten. It should be no surprise that Brendan was miserable after immunizations, but he really had a very hard day. I just couldn’t get him to smile.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Super high heart rate, lower than normal sats, sweating and lots of crying, no matter how much Tylenol and Ibuprofen he had. I had to call the doctor and he reassured me that he would be OK and it was not unusual for a baby like him getting his shots. As long as there was no high fever, we just had to “hang in there” and he would get through it. <\/p>\n

He was “hanging in there with Daddy” watching Finding Nemo this afternoon.

Brendan gets to watch movies but for Trevor it was nothing but work work work. Look at this pile of laundry we made him do!
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It took me five hours to get that whole basket of laundry folded. Lots of interruptions today!
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We rewarded Trevor’s labor with an amazing lunch. Vegetable rotini for the win!!!!!!!!!!
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mommy is obviously an amazing cook, this stuff rocks!!
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Yumm!! Even Brendan was interested.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I have to post this relaxed, happy Brendan from tonight so that his nurse, Sherelle, does not worry about him all weekend. He enjoyed his bath and went to bed like a usual night. Hopefully he sleeps through the next whole nurse shift.

At the end of the day, there was one piece of laundry left and no space in the drawers! I just had to dump it in the crib.
