Some days are exhausting. Trying to do everything that we did yesterday with only one person managing the two boys is pretty much impossible. Brendan still got lots of chances to work on new skills, but both boys have to get little lessons in sharing Mom.
\nTrevor has learned that when he cries from his crib, he adds “Mmmmoooommmaaaaaaa!!!!” Mmmoooommm!!!” It is so sweet and sad at the same time and yet I know that if I give in to it, then he has won! He did manage to avoid his afternoon nap today so he went to bed fairly easily tonight.<\/p>\n

Keeping Trevor occupied means finding new things for him to look at and hold. In this case a big spoon held him for about eight minutes so I could take care of Brendan.

We put the extension that Gramma bought on the baby jail. It was a definite upgrade! It filled up with toys really fast.

“Come on, you are going to miss lunch!”

Brendan made a big leap today in his food training. I put some of Trevor’s peas on Brendan’s tray. He smooshed them around and liked it! He even put his fingers in his mouth and tasted the peas. He didn’t really eat them off of his fingers, but he didn’t make a face or get mad or gag. It was a real good step in the right direction.
