We started with another early day today. Trevor decided 5am was a good time to start and then he just decided to stay up. Fortunately he took some really good naps today. I even got almost 2hrs of nap in this morning while the boys slept.
\nIt is a good thing because it is going to be a long weekend!<\/p>\n

Brendan had a lot of good play time today.
\n“Hey, what does this thing do?”
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Brendan’s new trick is working well…using the other big toe to scrape the pulse oximeter probe off. It doesn’t read well like this!
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Brendan played with “Nutritious Chicken Noodle Dinner” puree today. I am not sure how nutritious it is to tape but he had fun.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There was a little chameleon envy going on
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Poor Trevor is so very sensitive! We were just playing a little game and I startled him with too much silly. He goes from laughing to scared cry very quickly.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

He is also hilarious though. When is the last time you typed something and put this much of yourself in to it!?
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Daddy was sent to baby jail this evening!
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Since we have to be up all night anyway, I figured this was the best night to try new food with Trevor. If he has trouble later, I won’t lose any more sleep. He has had pureed chicken before but tonight he got real bits of baked chicken breast and some soft steamed broccoli. <\/p>\n

Trevor wanted to pet the broccoli

The first bite was a hard gag, a shudder and a wince. I think it was the texture. He got over it very quickly though and continued to eat the other pieces.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

“Yes, Mommy, I ate all my broccoli!”
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Sure he did
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

“Yeah, umm.. boy this chicken sure is good!”
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Brendan’s other new trick is that he has decided to operate his own suction machine.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

He even has his hand right over the port to initiate the suction. He likes the sound of it slurping up his bubbles and he likes to stick the tip of his tongue on it. Weird baby!
