I am sure when they are ten years old, I will look back in amazement about how the time flew by, but right now I am in denial that they are 10 months old today. It doesn’t even seem possible. We didn’t do anything special for their 10 month birthday. We went about all the tasks of the day, mixed in some chores and errands and lots of yawning.<\/p>\n

Brendan spent a lot of time on the floor but couldn’t handle all of the excitement. He took a little nap on Daddy.

Trevor did not take an afternoon nap, despite my best efforts. I tried to let him cry it out today, which usually works for him and he is asleep in a few minutes. This time he just cried and cried and cried and I felt like an absolute heel. I didn’t want to give in, but I eventually went to get him for his bottle.
\nHe went with me to Safeway for groceries and was still wide awake the whole time. So tonight he was just a mad little cranky crab.<\/p>\n

The one thing I always wanted to try when he gets like this is a second bath. Baths are Trevor’s kryptonite, it totally worked. A little bit of soaking and lots of bubbles and I had a happy baby that played for an hour and then went to bed right on time with hardly any rocking. <\/p>\n

Brendan is taking important lessons from Trevor during meal time. I think he tries to copy. He just loves his brother!
