This is going to be a whirlwind weekend with family in town. It is a shame when it takes a tragedy to bring everyone together, but we will enjoy the time we have with the ones we love.

Bill had quite a bit to do today, so the boys and I spent the day together. We are grateful for Brendan’s nurse MaryAlyn who worked a 12hr shift starting early so that we could have an evening to get some things done. We are also glad nurse Jen was here all day so that Bill could be gone and I wasn’t overwhelmed with the little monkeys. Thanks Christine for giving up your evening to help get through the end of the schedule and get the boys to bed. <\/p>\n

Nurse Jen puts Brendan to work whenever he is awake. He does all of his exercises.

Brendan amazed all of us with his standing today. He was so proud of himself! His legs get wobbly really fast, but he is getting stronger!

Trevor went through a couple of outfits and I finally gave up and left his pants off. He was totally happy with that idea.
