I heard again today from someone, “I would like to comment on your posts but don’t want to register and bother with another password to remember”. This is probably at least the 20th time someone has said this. I set up the blog for user registration mostly because I was nervous about spam comments and bots.
But because I secretly wish more people would comment because it really helps keep us in good spirits, I am going to do a little trial. If you are already registered and logging in – thank you, and please continue to use your login! For a short time, I have opened comments up to anyone and all you have to do is type a name and email address (email will not be published in any way, it will just link your comments if you post more than once).
We will see how it goes. If there is spam, I am closing it up. Google Analytics tells me that 35-45 unique visitors come to see the blog every day, you should say hi once in a while!

Next up – two adorable videos.

Trevor loves his dogs!

Brendan is not wearing his speaking valve (he still hates it!) but he is getting better and deliberately pushing an exhale past his trach so he can make noise. His little coos and squeaks are so cute, I can’t stand it! I caught a few here:

We had a super busy day. We had PT which was awesome, OT which was a crying mess, Oxygen refill, and monthly supply delivery (Fedex, UPS and Ontrak all visit and drop boxes). The boys handled it all pretty well, so many people coming and going. What I haven’t figured out is Trevor’s evening tantrum time. As soon as Bill comes home from work, Trevor goes in to meltdown mode. If Bill takes him outside or even to a different room to explore, he is fine. It is like he knows that I have Brendan and Daddy being home means he gets to finally break free of baby jail.
He will cry the whole time I try to cook dinner and go crazy until it is time to eat.

Brendan has to see the show

More crying at the gate

“He’s really mad now!” says Brendan, pretending that he has been the perfect angel all day

Arms up, wiggle them around, arms down, wiggle them around….

The bad part about teaching babies to tear paper for fun is when they find other important pieces of paper.

Brendan has his procedure tomorrow and it is going to be a LONG day.
