A little late in posting, just a little more update from yesterday. We were told last night that Brendan will probably be moved to the Children’s hospital this weekend, with surgery early in the week. He numbers were much better in the afternoon and he is still stable.
They tried to put in a new PICC line and had to give up because they couldn’t get it threaded. It sounds like poor Brendan inherited my veins, they said they were squiggly and branchy – which is exactly why I have a thousand bruises on my arms from trying to start IV’s and draw blood.
He has his current PICC with one port still open, and he managed to kick out the line in his right foot, so he has a line in his wrist for meds. When he is sedated for surgery, they will probably try to put in a new line.
The great people at my office threw me a shower in the afternoon and it was awesome! I will post more pictures later today, but here is some of the adorable footwear the boys picked up:
Lions for one, and leopards for the other. Brendan has his feet covered in connections, so he will have to wait to try them on.
Trevor is still practicing, he only would take about 8cc and then wanted to fall asleep.

I am headed back for a visit in a few hours!
