The last day of 2011, what a seriously eventful year. On New Years Eve last year, we weren’t even sure we would be having a baby, let alone two babies, and certainly not such a complicated start to their new little lives. 2012 is going to be exciting, life is going to be so different. By New Year’s Eve next year, we could be chasing down two little walking monsters!
Last night Brendan had an amazing night. He didn’t cry once. He woke up several times but was comfortable and alert. We set up the cool projection mobile over the bed and he really got caught up looking at the lights. I think he saved up all the crying for the morning, because he has been a handful all day and has just settled down for a nap.
We did get him comfortable in his swing for a while
It just didn’t last too long
Trevor is spending more and more time awake, and getting plenty of exercise time. He is getting pretty strong with his head control.
The boys in bed with their cool mobile – The mobile would not attach to the pack & play, so we have it setup on my camera’s tripod.

Happy New Year! It is amazing how much can change in life in such a relatively short time. Enjoy each age and stage for what it is. Keep your blog going – it will be such a treasure for you and the boys as they grow to see their history and what everyone had to say. Trevor looks like he is ready to start crawling around now! Brendan will catch up, or he will be content to send Trevor out to do his work for him…..that sounds familiar……..it’s not like you had an older sister who did that to you or anything…..Can’t wait for the 1st birthday cake smashing! Woohoo 2012!

I miss you all and look forward to seeing you soon. The boys are looking so cute. Trevor is adorable on the floor holding his head up so well. Brendan looks as though he’s growing a little, and will catch up to his brother before we know it.
Our wish for you, Bill, and the boys for the New Year, is that it will be a wonderful year, with Brendan growing stronger and getting healthy, Trevor continuing to be healthy and strong, and you and Bill starting to experience all the joys of being parents and a family. Much love to you all and thank you for giving us 2 beautiful grandsons. Give those babies lots of New Year’s kisses from Gramma and Grampa ! 🙂

For now, I’ll settle for the day when all the tubes, and tape come off for good!…..
