Week 14 – Day 1

The boys decided since there were more hands today that they would be more work! Brendan had a bit of a lousy day, he wasn’t too mad, but just seemed uncomfortable and couldn’t get to sleep. His alarm would go off a lot as he squirmed and struggled. Trevor played games with Gramma. He would fall asleep on her but wake up and fuss if she put him down. He just wants lots of her attention!

Only sleeping when being held!

Gramma tried to get Trevor to smile for the camera. He all but giggles when it isn’t pointed at him.

Awake baby!

If Brendan is in a good mood, he will smile too

He finally was able to get comfy on his side for a nap

His socks do magic tricks too, they just crawl off of his little feet on their own

  1. Glad the reinforcements have arrived and everyone is doing well! Looks like Brendan is developing thunder…arms? Is that a thing?

  2. I am now here in Arizona, and I can see, touch, feel, cuddle, kiss , hug, and adore the boys in person! It is amazing to me that they look quite a bit different in person than in pictures. For one thing they are much cuter (if that is possible) and to respond to Jon, the camera does indeed add 10 pounds to a person (well, maybe not 10 pounds in this case, maybe 10 ounces) because the little thunder thighs and thunder arms are really not that “thundery”! The boys are still tinier that they look in pictures. I would like to say the same for my “thunder arms”!
The smiles are so cute and Trevor really works it….at least on Gramma. He will probably be very spoiled by the time I leave, or I should say, more spoiled! It can’t be helped, I would have to go to “babies-aholics anonymous ” to keep from doing it!
Tiff and Bill, you are the greatest parents you could be for these two sweet little boys, and I wish there was a way to to tell you how proud I am, and how fortunate I am to be able to be with you all, and see for myself how amazing you are to have accepted all of the extra worries, work, and care of a baby with many special needs (at the moment), and you do it with love and courage, and very little sleep.
I am the luckiest Gramma in the whole world! My grandchildren are my greatest joy. Kayla, Ashley, Caleb, Brendan, and Trevor….I love you very much!

  3. Good evening from the East Coast!! Hey, we actually just had some snow, but rain once again, is lurking for this weekend. Just spent awhile “catching up”. The boys are definitely growing! They look wonderful! Hi Gramma!!! So glad that you arrived safely! I’ve been busy here working, taking care of my “baby” and grand-babies!! All are now doing well , albeit, my scheduling hurdles pale compared to yours! I am exhausted just reading about your typical day!! Kudos upon kudos to you and Bill!! Sending tons of love, lots of hugs and am keeping those prayers going!! Love, 🙂 🙂
