Week 28 – Day 5

I have so many pictures from today, the stuff from this morning seems like 2 days ago.

We started the day out on the patio in the gorgeous weather. (Sorry Gramma, Trevor still is very comfy in his cut-off pajamas! For bed tonight he is wearing the new cute monster ones!) Trevor like Uncle Jon’s beard.

Trevor was fascinated with what Aunt Shannon had to say.

The many expressions of camera face, listening to birds and practicing his new raspberry noise.

I gave Trevor some green beans this morning and he did NOT like them. He shuddered and cringed and made the funniest faces, almost gagging. Fortunately he had oatmeal to help it go down. He ate all the green beans I gave him though, like a good boy.

Uncle Jon got to meet li’l b today. Brendan thought Jon was awesome.

Brendan’s cuteness makes people do silly things

Brendan got another nice thorough washdown again

Brendan spent all night on the hospital vent in automode and had a really comfortable smiling night. But around 3am he spiked a low fever and they had to send cultures again (just safety policy). Because of that, Bill stayed home with Trevor.
This morning he was doing much better, they think his fever is just stress and medication related. They even did some tests with him, turning down his pressure support on the vent to see how he would handle it.
Tomorrow, they are going to try Trilogy again with a slightly different valve configuration and see if he likes it better.

When we got home, cousins Tim and Jess and Eric came to meet Trevor. We got takeout Mexican food (before we even realized it was Cinco de Mayo today) and had a nice dinner outside. Trevor was the life of the party talking up a storm, sitting in his high chair and eating his musical fish.

I can’t believe we didn’t take any pictures with them!

I have photo evidence that someone in this household is losing it.

Brendan’s new toolbox is finally here and put together – no damage this time!

A very long day and a very late update! Bed time!!!

  1. Super cute pictures today! The video of Trevor is adorable, but it comes out very small like a postage stamp on my screen.
There’s Druncle Jon, as Kayla and Ashley informed me his name is, when they were here today! Nice haircut, Jon, I like it! Uh, Shannon…nevermind. 🙂
Brendan looked so extra cute in his pictures today! It is so nice to see those smiles coming more often.
That’s okay, Trevor, I like green beans, but not all mushed up! You can make faces about that.
It would be impossible to choose which picture is the cutest, however the face on Shannon in the hospital is very silly! No wonder Brendan thinks it’s funny.
I hope Shannon and Jon are taking care of my “apartment”! Bill and Tiffanie offer great accommodations!
I like seeing all of the happy faces. Much love to all, and good luck on the Trilogy, Brendan. I miss you all.
    Love, Gramma

  2. Good Morning from the East Coast! So glad that “Druncle Jon” made it safely to AZ. Brendan and Trevor, your pictures are so entertaining and of course, throw in those sophisticated, adult facial expressions from Aunt Shannon and Uncle Jon and you two now know the meaning of stand up comedy! Of course, those routines are fostered from love!! Enjoy your visit with them…they are pretty cool!! Today at church not only will we again, be praying for all of you, but also witnessing Emily’s First Communion…you boys would fall in love with her in an instant! In fact Brendan, you and your family are celebrities at our church! Your name is permanently on the prayer requests and the Pastor always says your name during the service!! So, the east Coast has you covered!! Trevor and Brendan, enjoy all your visitors! Loved all the pictures!! Many prayers, lots of love and giant, big, huge, HUGS!! 🙂
