Week 32 – Day 5

Brendan had a great day today. We had no nurse so it was just loving care from Mom, Dad and Gramma and I think it makes such a huge difference. He has done a lot of sleeping and a lot of smiling.
Trevor had a lot of fun times today too, but he is still a little pistol in the evenings. He demands a lot of attention and cries a lot, although I still think teething is his biggest problem, followed by a little remaining gassiness. Once those teeth aren’t hurting, he should be back to super happy Trevor again.

The stronger Brendan gets, the more trouble we are going to be in!

Brendan is going to get lots of handling, sitting, kicking practice, and tummy time every day. It is hard for him, but I think he likes the challenge.

The photo is blurry, but I was so impressed with how well he was able to pop his own head up, I had to use it anyway! He is stronger than I thought!

Trevor gets lots of play time with Gramma. He is very spoiled!

He wants to play, but he keeps his chin tucked down. It must make his teeth feel better.

Gramma is getting a good workout bouncing Trevor! He likes it so much, he can’t sit on her lap without insisting on being bounced.

Poor Trevor!!

Trevor learned how to drink from a straw! We just thought he might chew on it. But he got a mouth full of Gramma’s ice water. He was a bit surprised at first. The cold makes him open his mouth and let it all run out! Now that he knows what a cup is for, he begs for it when he sees it!

  1. Cuter and cuter, and doing new things every day! I most definitely need a bigger suitcase when I go home!
I am so grateful to be a part of Brendan’s and Trevor’s “babyhood”. They are each so special and different, and this Gramma couldn’t be prouder!
Brendan has made such nice progress since he is home and surrounded by love and gentleness. He is cared for in a way that hospitals cannot provide.
Kudos to Tiffanie and Bill for their continual devotion to their little boys. Not many people could do what they do with such love, determination, and acceptance.
Lots of love to my wonderful daughter and all of her boys!
