Heather, my day will be blessed with veal oscar and dark chocolate cake!
Truly, my day is blessed with the riches I have accumulated over the past 60 years that have nothing to do with money. I just watched my life in pictures and music, on a 30 minute DVD that Shannon put together. It took me a long time to regain my composure, I cried the entire time and a long time after!
I looked at all of the pictures, from me as a little girl, to pictures taken just yesterday, and realize that I didn’t really appreciate enough all of the happy times and smiling faces when they were happening. I intend to keep that in mind in the future.
I love my children and grandchildren more than anything in the world, and I do appreciate everything that they bring to my life. Thank you, Shannon, for my DVD. I will watch it many times over. (and cry!)
