What is today, Wednesday? I lose track! Brendan was feeling a little off today while sprinting, he just was gagging and retching and coughing a lot so we put him back on his vent. Trying a few times yielded the same results. I think he has a big tooth coming in somewhere that is causing him a lot of oral secretions that are giving him a problem. He deserved a day of rest, all together he was off vent for about 4hrs.
Trevor has declared this side table for the land of Trevor and all that is placed on it belongs to Trevor. (Even Daddy’s big mug of coffee)

Brendan showing off his sitting

He is even strong enough to shake things up!

He still will fall backwards easily. But he has too much trust that someone is going to catch him. Sadly, I missed him once today and he got his first fall over head bonk. Boy was he mad! I felt horrible, but truly, he maybe needed a bonk to know that he has to keep trying to not fall over!
Trevor came over to play, much to Brendan’s delight

He shows Brendan how to turn toys over and look for the screws to take it apart

Feeling guilty, I set up Brendan’s safety throne for sitting to play!

I was focused on Brendan and almost missed the Trevor camera attack!

Brendan had plenty of silly play time today. He is slapping things like crazy now. His slapping hand just occasionally turns against him!
Hahahahaha!! I had to watch the video over and over, it made me laugh every time! Silly Brendan. 🙂
It is really great to see him sitting up all by himself. That is wonderful progress. YAY, Brendan!!!
Trevor looks busy all the time! I can’t wait to see the boys next week. I was out buying things to fill my suitcase again, but I can only check one this time!
Lots of love,
Gramma
Brendan is doing so great sitting up, even since we were there last week! It’s too bad you can’t get Trevor to eat, poor thing. LOL
We miss them already!
Awww = Brendan seems to be saying “hey what is this? does not make same noise….uh-oh!” Love seeing them both get stronger every day!!
Brendan’s expression when he was slapping himself said it all – “Hey, who is hitting me? This is silly, but really? Who is slapping me?” He kept looking around for the culprit. Great sitting, and yes, the little bonk is sometimes what they need to realize they have to rely on themselves a little. Hard on the mommies though =). Trevor is trouble with that capital T!
