Year 2 – Week 9 – Day 2

I don’t have new pictures for the blog tonight! Brendan had a decent day, he even spent some time in the office-room with Bill. It is nice to get him out of his corner of the living room and I think he really enjoyed himself. He sat in his bouncy seat while Bill worked so that Trevor and I could get groceries.
He is outgrowing his baby bouncy chair, so he is having to learn how to use the big one!

Trevor was very tired when we got home from the store. I tried to put him down for a nap but he was restless and very hot. I took his temperature and it was 102.7! Another thermometer said 103.5! Wouldn’t it figure this stuff always happens on a Friday. It was early enough that I called the pediatrician’s office. The doctor called me right back and said that there is a virus going around now and they have had lots of fever calls. We are supposed to push fluids, give tylenol and/or ibuprofen, and watch for any other symptoms. If he gets worse, we will have to go to an urgent care or ER. If he is not better by Monday, the doc will see him in the office.

Tylenol and a bath helped and he was feeling better this evening. He loves playing with one of his new Christmas toys. He is a bulldozer train.

Since this is a short post, I will upload the cuteness of their holiday photo shoot! We took these pictures a few weeks ago for our cards, but I couldn’t use them all.

And of course, there can’t be a photo shoot without outtakes! I sometimes like these better than the “good” ones!

  1. Poor Trevor! I will hope for a quick recovery. He’s had a hard time staying well.
Brendan in the chair is adorable. He looks so grown up! He seems very proud of himself.
I remember the Christmas picture photo shoot well! The outtakes are the best! Brendan looks so cute in footed jammies.
Trevor seems to love his new bulldozer train. I’ll bet Brendan likes it, too.
For a “no new pictures” blog, it is great with the videos and the Christmas pictures!
Lots of love and hugs for getting well, and no one else getting sick again.
    Love, Gramma

  2. Aww poor boy! The viral stuff is going around up here too. Both my girls have had it. C had it so bad she ended up in the ER. High fevers for days, bad body pains, no appetite. My fingers are crossed that he gets well quick and that Brendan doesn’t get it! Very cute Christmas pics!
