Year 2 – Week 10 – Day 3

We were busy today, I didn’t get the camera out much!

Little Trevor luxuriates in his bath for a long time. He loves to be on his tummy and paddle and kick around in the water.

He blows bubbles and eats the water too.

Trevor cuddled with Daddy for a while and watched “The Lorax” .. again. He loves that movie, I love the music in it.

Brendan had a fun day of being super silly. I finally caught his new “trick” on video, he is very proud.

It may seem silly, but clapping is a very important developmental milestone. It also opens the door for him to work on his sign language. He is learning how to sign “puppy” right now because it is easy! We have gone really slow with his PMV valve for speaking because he HATES it. After that first day that he did really well, now he knows how to fight it. The moment we put it on, he just holds his breath and forces pressure against it. After a while, he either blows it off himself or we remove it because he is turning red. Even 30 seconds a day will help eventually. He will learn to make it work for him, right now I think it scares him too much.

  1. I like the strategically placed bubbles on the little tush! I think Trevor needs to have swimming lessons next Spring!
YAY, Brendan!! Clap clap clap! He is really starting to do a lot of things well, and will catch up before we know it. I love the proud look he always has when he is doing something just like everyone else, he is cuter every day…if that’s possible.
I am getting ready to go to Pittsburgh in a couple of days to welcome another baby boy grandson. I can’t wait until all the cousins can get together. What a day that will be!!! 🙂
Lot’s of love and wishes for 2013 to be a year filled with lots of good things for the whole family; a new baby boy for Shannon and Jon, beautiful new remodeling for Heather and Kevin, healing for Kayla’s loss, lots of fun for Ashley, Caleb, and Trevor, progress and healing for Brendan, sleep and normalcy for Tiffanie and Bill, resolution for Erin and Jules, and a new job for Grampa Dusty! Oh, and a wish for Great-Grandma to stay on her feet!!
    Lots and lots of love,
    Gramma
