Happy Valentines Day!
All four of us went on a super romantic outing today.. to the GI doctor’s appointment. Brendan was not thrilled to be in the stroller but he handled the whole thing very well. Trevor was all crazy getting tangled up in wires and trying to eat oxygen tubes.

Brendan only weighed 25lbs 3oz on the scale at this office, which is more believable. Still, the doctor said that he is getting too big too fast. They do their best to calculate calorie needs but Brendan is getting a bit too chunky so we are going to scale his feeding back a bit.

Brendan says, “What? I can’t even pinch an inch!”

We told him this means he has to lay off the sugary drinks!

Over the next few weeks, we will be tweaking Brendan’s feeding schedule so that he will actually have four hours a day off of his feeding pump. We are excited for him to be so “unwired”. We also have an order to go back to radiology to have the wonky weird feeding tube replaced with the original low-profile button. It would be a great thing for his mobility, we just have to get brave enough to take him for the procedure.
The appointment was exhausting, Brendan fell asleep in the car on the way home. Trevor ate lunch in the car on the way home!

I tried a couple different stores and I could not find a cute valentines day outfit for boys. It was all frilly pink girl stuff or it was stupid. But the boys got a gift from Brendan’s nurse with superhero stuff!

Trevor wore red with firetrucks but has his cool new batman t-shirt to wear tomorrow. He wouldn’t pose for pictures with his hat.

We cooked dinner at home. We made mushroom & swiss baked chicken. Trevor loved it!
I feel like Brendan after a day with doctor and travelling and mixing up the schedule which means cranky babies in the evening, I need a nap!!
Super Li’l B!! So cute! And I LOVE Trevor’s red pants. I think that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day. Kieran wore Brendan and Trevor’s hand-me-down Valentine’s outfit yesterday, which was super cute. Too bad they didn’t make it in a 1 year bigger size for the boys!
Miss you boys – sending virtual hugs and cheek chomping your way!
