Year 2 – Week 17 – Day 3

Today was a complete 180 from yesterday. Both boys slept nicely through the night and woke up in good moods. Trevor ran some errands with me this morning and then I took him to the park to swing and run around. I must have totally worn him out because he took an almost 3hr nap!

Brendan was in a great mood today and played and did hours of tummy time. He didn’t nap much, but he sure worked hard. He seems to have adjusted to the new fluid/food rate. He definitely needed the extra water.

I don’t know what the difference is between days like today and days like yesterday. I wish I knew the secret! I went to bed last night at 9PM and Bill waited up for the nurse at 11PM. It was nice to go to bed early, I really needed it! I took a nap when the boys went down today too. I have just felt so drained, it is nice to be able to rest.

Brendan sat on the couch and read his book this morning.

Silly boy!

Brendan is safe from the head pats in his pillow fort on the couch! Trevor still comes by for a chat!

Trevor toddles everywhere now. He can easily stand up from the floor without anything to pull up on. (He was dressed most of the day, he just woke up from his nap and got out of jammies)

You have to have sunlight to see the bed-head Trevor has!

The boys still completely wear me out, but it is just a lot better when they do it with smiles.

  1. Better day! So happy to hear everyone got more rest.
Brendan looks so happy on the couch reading his book.
It’s kind of a change to see Trevor with no clothes, and Brendan with clothes on! 🙂
Brendan needs Kayla and Ashley to build him a fort! They really create nice ones.
I’m hoping you’ll have another restful night, and more good naps tomorrow.
    Lots of love,
    Gramma

  2. Bed-head…..I just saw one of those……..oh yeah, just a short time ago, in the mirror !!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Every day that I see Brendan smiling, is a good day. 🙂 😉

  3. Good afternoon from the norovirus, lyme disease healing east coast!! Finally, reading the computer does not trigger a migraine! Whew!! Tiffanie and Bill, you have been “crazy” busy!! Brendan and Trevor sure have kept the place hopping! I am getting another migraine just reading about all the action! It certainly comes with its ups and downs. You show us the “ups”:-), but you live, the “downs”:-(! Hoping that you are able to rujuvenate before the next challenges meet you!! Brendan and Trevor, you are of the luckiest boys ever!! You have amazing parents!! And you are so cute!!! Said prayers for you again today! Sending love and many hugs!!! 🙂

  4. I love the sun-shadowed bed head! He looks like he has the most fine, whispy blond hair!

I am so glad that the day was better, and that Mommy got some nappy time (and I mean the sleeping in bed nappy, not the kind that needs changing off of those cute little tushies!). We have done a lot of looking back lately, and when I see where the boys were last year, it is amazing to see them now! We can’t wait to mee them in person this summer!
