Year 2 – Week 19 – Day 1

February is done, unbelievable!

It was just me and the boys today so we tried to keep it low key. Of course, that always backfires because if I don’t wear them out with positive craziness, they just wear me out with crabby craziness.

Brendan started the day with a fun book. Watch out, that pointer finger is working now!

Trevor has his own way to get up on the chair. (he is chewing on his cold hammer)

I wanted to spread out on the floor and join them

Brendan worked on his kneeling and climbing

Trevor is always working on his climbing

This is Trevor sitting on the “almost” naughty step

Brendan’s PT focus is supposed to be on crawling, but he has other ideas.

Motivation in the toybox

I tried to get around evening cranky Trevor time by having him help cook dinner.

It didn’t work

Brendan plays the magnetic ABC game on his toolbox while Trevor gets put to bed

Bill is going to the office tomorrow and the night nurse leaves at 7am. It is going to be a long day!

  1. Brendan! Something new every day! Your standing up all by yourself is amazing! You have been making such wonderful progress lately. I am so happy for you! 🙂 That little pointer finger is doing a good job, too!
Trevor…were you “almost” naughty? I would never believe that! You’re much too cute to be naughty, I think it must be highly exaggerated!
It’s so great to see little boys doing normal little boy things, including Brendan. I know it is hard and tiring right now, but it’s easy to see the payoff for that. The boys are doing great because you and Bill are doing a great job.
Good luck tomorrow with your “Mommy and Boys” day. I wish you happy babies and long naps!
    Love, Gramma

  2. Whoo-hoo, Brendan!!! Way to go with the sit to stand/back to sit exercises, you really rocked ’em out! Also, Tiffanie, what a perfect place to put the ABC magnets. They’re out of the way, yet remain in the line of sight of playful, inquisitive hands.

  3. Brendan, Standing- – – 😮 😮 STANDING? !! 😮 😮 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 “Trouble” has a new face ! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Trevor, yeah I know, plastic bags are “flavorless”, and….. hard to chew. 🙂 🙂
