Year 2 – Week 20 – Day 6 – Post 2!

Some people said that they missed the post from yesterday because I posted the video post so soon after it. There was great stuff in that post, like Trevor giving his brother a kiss! Scroll back!

This was a crazy Tuesday. PT, OT, and oxygen refill meant there were people coming and going all day. On top of a special delivery of yet another feeding pump because we continue to have trouble with his tube.

Brendan had a great morning, a fabulous PT session, and used his “personal mobility scooter” to get all around the living room.

This is Brendan’s newest ‘naughty face’. He purses his lips and makes little kissy sounds when he is up to something.

Trevor decided that Brendan’s medical supplies needed reorganizing

Our secret plan from yesterday was a roaring success. When I finally got Trevor down for a nap, I went outside on the patio and set it up. When he woke up, he had a fun surprise!!

He just decided to close me in the house.

He ran circles around the place, he was so excited to be outside!! He spent almost 5 hours out there today, in and out of the house (mostly out)

Guess who else spent several hours outside?

The dogs even seemed to like our company and hung out close to the gates!

I made reuben sandwiches for dinner and I gave my little helper a glob of thousand island dressing to play with. He just ate it. (and loved it!) He was super hungry after all that running!

I also let him taste sauerkraut but he was less than impressed. He politely removed it from his mouth and put it back on the tray.

While we were scrambling around trying to get through after dinner routine, I noticed that Trevor had picked up a peepee diaper. Sometimes they don’t make it directly to the trash so I thought he just grabbed one of Brendan’s so I took it away from him and threw it out.
Then I looked again.

It was such a full day! I am so happy that the weather was gorgeous, and the boys both had a blast in their new outdoor area.

  1. The cuteness just keeps coming! The last picture of Trevor standing in the doorway looks like it’s from “Close Encounters” when the little boy was looking for the UFO!
I love Brendan’s new “naughty face”…not the naughty, just the face!
What a great idea so the boys could be outside! Trevor obviously loves it…more than sauerkraut! Brendan loves it, too!
I have drawers that need to be organized if Trevor wants to come stay with me for awhile!
Brendan sure looks cute on the scooter. So many things are changing every day! They are less “baby” and more little boys every day.
    Love to all,
    Gramma

  2. Good Morning from the East Coast!! Still recovering from that amazing video!! What an incredible journey all of you have experienced!! Kudos, again to the most amazing parents ever!! Loved, the outdoor setting for the boys!! Brendan and Trevor, both of you are becoming little men, leaving babyhood behind….how awesome!! Sending prayers, many huggable hugs and lots of love!! 🙂

  3. Haha! Kieran makes that same face (as Li’l B). Seriously, we have to figure out how they are communicating with each other and propagating the naughtiness!
