Technically, Wednesdays should be the easiest day of the week. In reality, it was a great day but it was busy and exhausting.
Trevor decided to wake up right after Bill left for the office at 5:45 this morning and he was up for the day. We had to take Brendan to the pediatrician for his next round of his RSV protection shots and Trevor had to ride along. That all went very smoothly!
Trevor says, “bye mom, see you at snacktime”

Brendan shows off some fancy footwork

He was not happy about having to stop playing to go to the doctor

Brendan has had an awesome day even with getting a big shot in each thigh. The boys had good play time.

Brendan has been watching Trevor eat the letters from the alphabet game and had to give it a try

Brendan wore his speaking valve for 2 solid minutes today! Twice! He didn’t cry at all, he enjoyed getting out some noises. It was quite a pleasant surprise, we will keep working on it every day.
He was happy to get all the attention and clapping!

” He didn’t cry at all, he enjoyed getting out some noises. ”
He’s been *getting out some noises* without the valve, and has learned that they are “his noises”, and the valve makes it easier. ” Brilliant ”
He’s going to want the valve all the time – – – *peace and quiet* are a thing of the past. 😮 😮 🙂 🙂 🙂 😉
I love the idea of the outdoor play area. I will have to do the same when the weather warms up here enough to cooperate. 🙂
It’s awesome that Brendan is learning how to work with the valve instead of against it. He’ll be chattering up a storm before you know it!
Love it that Trevor is just going in and out when he wants to. He is such a cutie with so much personality. He’s quite a little boy now.
I’m so happy to hear that Brendan seems to be ready to use his PMV. I can’t wait to hear more of his adorable voice! He will be walking and talking before you know it. He has such a happy little face, it is so heartwarming…quite a little charmer! Can’t wait to see the video coming up….:-)
Lots of love,
Gramma
