Year 2 – Week 27 – Day 2

I tell myself that I am going to just do a short blog and not try to get so many pictures in a day. But then the day is just full of so many reasons to pick up the camera, it just happens and next thing I know, I am trying to pick out only the best ones.

For speech therapy today, Brendan decided that he would play with and eat food as long as he could have a bubble wand instead of a spoon.

It got over 90 degrees today so we had to have some water fun!

Brendan can’t go in the water, but he can sit on the side and splash if he wants to. And he can just look adorable wearing swimming trunks.

The water got cold fast and in the shade, the breeze was chilly so the pool didn’t last long.

I had to wrap a baby up in a monkey towel

Monkey escaping!

Trevor shared a snack with his little frog friend Hopkins. (Every green frog in this house is named Hopkins because of Baby Signing Time)

He even took Hopkins for a ride in the dustpan

Brendan is clapping because he knows he will make everyone else clap too

This is almost a five minute montage, but it was all too cute, I couldn’t pick what to leave out. Especially the hyper crazies at the end, just try not to laugh!

  1. The video is hilarious!! I love all of the giggling near the end. I have to laugh at the silliness!
Whatever it takes to get Brendan to eat! Bubble wand it is! 🙂
I love the monkey towels. The one of the “monkey” crawling into the house is too funny!
There was definitely too much cuteness happening at your house today! It was a very good day!
I had Kayla and Ashley with me all day, and Ashley is tucked-in in the “guest room”, and Kayla went home to go to a birthday party sleepover. The girls rotate the room they choose to sleep in when they stay over! Caleb visited, so it was a good day here, too! We are looking forward to seeing Kieran (and his mom and dad) on Monday.
    Lots of giggly love,
    Gramma

  2. The boys seem to have a language all their own and carry on their own conversation, it is so cute. The monkey towel pictures of both of the boys are great and the giggles at the end of the video made me laugh with them, also liked Brendan chasing Trevor, they seem to have so much fun together.
