Year 2 – Week 27 – Day 6

Wouldn’t you know that on the day that I was sick and needed rest the most, Trevor woke up super early. He stands in his crib and opens and closes the drawers on his dresser now. 5:45am – BANG! BANG!
Other than having fever aches, chills, and hot flashes, I was just tired. The morning was tough but we got through and I started feeling a little better. I got a nap in while the boys napped.

Trevor was a little stinker but it could have been worse. He didn’t feel like using his friends the broom and dustpan when they were called for.

He has a little garbage truck buddy now to go outside and wait for the garbage truck to come down the street. We have a truck alert system in place now. Awesome neighbor Bailey sends me a text message when the truck goes by her house 11 doors down so that we can get outside in time!

There it is! He loves when it comes around the corner to do the other side of the street.

Here’s some new Trevor tricks that I didn’t need today!

Brendan wonders what Trevor is doing in his crib!

He is going to be a climber too, as soon as he is strong enough!

That face just says trouble!

After baths tonight, it was mani-pedi time. Baby Signing time videos and a silly headlamp make it very easy!

There is nothing planned for tomorrow so it would be nice to have some kind of outing. Hopefully we all feel well tomorrow!

  1. Hahahaha! Trevor suctioning his mouth is so funny, I have to laugh. Oh my, now he climbs on the workbench to get things on the counter! He is so cute waiting for the garbage truck!
Brendan’s “trouble” face is adorable! He looks like he will be climbing sooner than later.
I hope you feel better very soon and tomorrow is a better day.
    Love to all,
    Gramma

  2. Hope you are feeling better too! Being sick is hard enough, being sick with a baby to care for is harder, and being sick with Trevor and Brendan deserves sainthood (or some Fannie Mae Mint Meltaway, if only it was available out by you)! Hope the boys treated you better today and let you have some rest. Pretty soon, they will be old enough to “take care” of you when you’re sick – Trevor trying to fix you with his drill (who says trepanning is dead?) and Brendan trying to suction you when you cough.
