Aside from things not being quite right with Brendan, it was a nice Saturday. Bill was home all day and was available to help wrangle the crazies. I did some cleanup projects and some creative stuff too, and chased the crazies all over the house.
Brendan was wanting to explore but he reached maximum extension on his mist collar.

We put Brendan on an HME with a nice long oxygen line and just let him go go go. The pair of brothers went on quite an adventure together. They started in the hallway and did some maintenance on the motion activated lights.

They tried to make an escape out the dog door until the dog came to play peek-a-boo

They took apart the cabinet full of tater tots

“C’mon, Trevor, what is next?”

Brendan did this all by himself, and every day he is getting more bold about trying

They finally took a break together

Then it was back to the fun. They both LOVED the suitcase full of frogs.

Trevor and I ran out to Sams Club to buy dog food and while we were there, I got suckered in to buying him this cute book with firetrucks and lots of little dogs. He loved it so I made the mistake of letting him hold it in his car seat on the way home.
By the time we got to the house, he had chewed through the corner of the book and had little bits of paper spitwads everywhere. He is not a baby, he is a little goat!

He was also very naughty in his bath tub tonight. He would NOT sit down and he had a lot to say.
We tried to turn Brendan’s oxygen down again today but it was a no-go. He is still on 4L. It seems like he has been sick for so long, but it has only been a week ago last night that he showed his first symptoms. Hopefully this silly mood and energy will soon be followed by better numbers.
A special happy anniversary goes out to Great Aunt Letty and Great Uncle Rich today. Congratulations and happy 45th!!

Happy Anniversary, Letty and Rich!!
What cute pictures of the boys you got today! Brendan and Trevor are SO adorable playing together. Brendan sure got around today! He is learning from the master of getting into trouble! 🙂 Dog door, Tater Tots, vacuum cleaner, CLIMBING!! Cuteness overload!
So glad Brendan seems to feel okay even though his numbers aren’t so good. As you said, it isn’t as long as it seems since he got sick, he just needs more time.
Thank you all for the very nice dragonfly earrings you sent to me for Mother’s Day! I like them very much.
I think that you, Tiffanie, deserve to get the “Mother of the Year Award”! I am very proud to be your mother and I love you very much!
Lots of love and hugs to you all,
Gramma xxxx
