Happy Memorial Day! I don’t have anything profound to say about the holiday, try as I might. I am grateful for and proud of all of my family members and friends that have served in the armed forces and I am lucky that most of them are still with us. We honor and remember those that are not.
It was a pretty typical day for us. It started with a trip to Sam’s Club for “just a few things”
It really wasn’t that many items, just really big ones. Boxes of diapers, wipes, TP, paper towels, etc. All the bulky things. And some new shelving for the new room! And Trevor picked out a watermelon!
He picked this out for my birthday treat since I am not going to bake a cake for myself!
He thinks Gramma would approve, but wants to do a taste test right in the store anyway!

Great videos! Brendan is turning into a climber, too. 🙂 In the second video, Brendan doesn’t know which way to go to keep up with Trevor! They are so cute together. Brendan is doing so well!
Our Sams Club does not have cookie dough ice cream! Good choice for Mommy’s birthday, Trevor! I would bake a cake if I was there. 🙂
A year ago today I came back there for the fourth time since the boys were born to help with Brendan’s homecoming. I changed my ticket 3 times that trip! I miss the boys so much!
I hope you have a nice birthday tomorrow and can do something for yourself. You deserve it!
