Year 2 – Week 33 – Day 3

Both boys are on the mend still today, and BOY OH BOY was Trevor an ultra-crabtastic grump-opatomus. He was super quick to tantrum.

He still could be adorable too. He was playing hide and seek with Gramma outside, counting.

“Ready or not, here I come!”

“That’s right, I am going to swing!” He did swing and loved it.

Here’s a video montage of some of the day’s silliness.

It is wonderful to have Gramma here with extra hands, although at some moments I still feel like with three adults and two babies, the babies are still winning! I was able to do a HUGE amount of work on the old office room this afternoon. I have hoarded too much stuff and got rid of bags and bags of garbage. I am very excited to rein in all the mess and move only good stuff to the new room. The playroom is not so far away!

After dinner bath sillies:

Trevor saw that Brendan got in after he got out and he decided he wanted back in

While I was cleaning, I found the cube flop toy and gave it back to Trevor. We have had it on the shelf for a long time. He LOVED it and kept climbing through it.

Every day, we hope that we all get healthier and then STAY healthy for more than a few weeks this time.

  1. Even with the sickness, and the crankiness, and the craziness…the boys are still silly, and adorable, and cuddly, and I am so glad that I could come out here to be with them. It’s not something that they will remember, but I will never forget the time I have been able to spend with them. I hope that I will always be able to be a part of their lives. It brings me great joy to be able to know them, not only through this blog, but because I can be here to hold them, and hug them, and kiss them, and hope that they will remember me the next time…and the time after that…and the time after that…
    Lots and lots of love,
    Gramma xxxx

  2. Good afternoon from the East Coast!! Just returned home after Cousin Emily’s soccer game! Her team played well!! So much fun reading today’s blog!! Both boys look so much better!! And Gramma, we do think that the boys will remember you…our Carrie has often recalled events and people she met at 18months…those little boys will certainly know Gramma!!! Healing prayers (said a few more today for you), much love and many hugs!!! 🙂
