Year 2 – Week 35 – Day 6

I woke up this morning thinking that we had a cardiology appointment today. I had mentally planned my day out around it. I got dressed and was going to start prepping for the drive when our nurse pointed out that it was written on the calendar for NEXT Tuesday. That was right, the appointment is for the 2nd. I am just glad I didn’t make it all the way to the hospital before I discovered my error!

Since Brendan had a day nurse, I had to get Trevor out of the house for a while before the 118+ degree heat hits us this week! We walked down the street to visit Maggie Moo and her friend Bandit and see the finished work on the pool.

It is hard to get Trevor to keep any sunglasses on, let alone silly ones

He was even trying to bite and lick them

Trevor likes exploring at someone else’s house. And he like Maggie Moo too

Bandit liked Trevor

It’s Tuesday!

Brendan was staying inside where it was cool

He wants Gramma to think he looks like Spiderman too

He spent the day hanging around and cruising the room

He has been licking things lately too

Daddy calls this “tank mode”

He was fascinated with the laundry basket tonight

Trevor took a three hour nap today, he must be trying to make up for yesterday. Getting out in the sun probably took it out of him too. This was the first day in a long time that felt like we are starting to get back to “normal” again. Almost there anyway.

  1. Brendan is being Spider-Man enough for me! I would be shocked to see him standing on the window ledge, although I suppose it will happen sooner than I think! 🙂 That’s a nice little “tank” you have in the living room, too.
Do you think Trevor will be perched on the front wall on Tuesdays when he’s 10 or 12? ha-ha! He looks so serious like it’s an important job he has to do every week. It’s so cute!
I’m glad that it feels as though things are returning to “normal”. You all need a break and to start moving in a forward direction again. No more cooties at the Aylesworth house!! Fortunately, they didn’t seem to like me!
I hope Uncle Rich in NJ will feel better very soon, too. He has had a very rough spell, and we send love and hugs his way tonight, too.
I miss my little AZ boys very much!
    Lots of love and squeezes,
    Gramma xxxx

  2. Brendan in “tank mode” is funny, has he ever seen the garbage truck with Trevor? Does he get as excited as Trevor over it? Glad to hear Trevor is feeling better, he looks so cool in his star shades. Brendan as spiderman is great, he just seems to be fearless.
