I couldn’t have a day without Trevor pictures. He was a busy guy today. He got to have a treat after lunch of fireworks donut holes. (glazed devils food with rainbow sprinkles).
“What’s this, you say?”
“Hmmmmmm”
Pop! He might be too small for pop’em style donut hole eating.
“It magically disappeared”
“Another one? Don’t mind if I do!”
It was a breezy 105 today, so Trevor got to play sprinkler in the shade of the tree out front.
Devils food cake and mud pies on the same day?
He loved playing in the mud
Before too long he was sinking in to the ground! He played sprinkler for an hour and a half, content as can be
Daddy came out to see what was going on
And he brought some smiley company that wanted to know what was up too
I didn’t want to waste my afternoon napping, but I ended up taking one involuntarily. I hate it when that happens. I just am wiped out. I am hoping that the neighborhood holiday shenanigans don’t wake up the boys. Everyone be safe tonight and have a Happy Fourth!
I love the entire donut hole in Trevor’s mouth! He looks like he really enjoyed it. He sure liked his sprinkler time, too.
Brendan looks so cute flying in the tree! He looks well-rested!!
You deserve a nap now and then. You should take one every opportunity you get!

Hmmm, mud pies. Did they taste as good as the fireworks donuts? Don’t you love how it is called a “sleep study” but you don’t get any sleep?
The Vernon Hills fireworks were, OK maybe just a bit more spectacular than in previous years! Closest they’ve come to sounding like Lowry’s five inch guns going off. Just the the neighborhood holiday shenanigans, that would definitely wake the boys ! 😮 Hope by today everyone is well rested.
Waiting to hear how all “the numbers” shake down, and what good news they have for Brendan. He and Trevor are getting sooo big.
