Year 2 – Week 38 – Day 2

Brendan had a great night off of his ventilator. He seems to sleep better without it, he slept in until 7am!

Both boys had a good day. Trevor and I just ran around and did some shopping today so that he could have an outing. He had lunch at Sam’s Club so that we could buy more diapers.

They discovered the mega cache of surplus peek-a-blocks tonight.

They got Daddy in on the fun

I picked up a can of “Mr Bubbles Foam Soap” to see if Brendan would play with it in the tub. It kind of comes out of the can like long squared worms and it dissolves quickly. It does not lather at all.

I don’t think I would buy it again. Trevor thought it was interesting.

Brendan did not like!!!

“You look ridiculous”

Trevor dumped a bath toy bucket over his head

Brendan laughs

Trevor thinks Brendan needs a bucket hat too

We had lots of rumors and warnings about haboobs and storms today but nothing ever came past our house.

We hope that Gramma and Grampa have a very safe road trip!

  1. We are in Byron, Georgia! Long day, but tomorrow will be shorter. We only have 425 miles to get to Bradenton!
I LOVE the bathtub pictures, especially Brendan’s face with the soap on his head!! I also like the “you look ridiculous” picture.
I am glad we got WiFi at the motel.
Hope to see the blog again soon.
    Lots of love,
    Gramma xxxx

  2. Brendan has the best expressions. So happy to hear he had a good night. K wishes Trevor lived closer, so they could go on outings together.

  3. Good morning from the Lake House!! Still a bit shocked that they send you such an inexperienced speech therapist!! Good grief!! Hoping that you will be able to work out the kinks and end up with a more competent therapist!! The boys look wonderful!! Their parents are just amazing!!!!!! Go Brendan with sleeping without the vent!! And Trevor, you look so grown up in the gym with lots of friends! Still unable to download videos, must be a quirk with our Wi-Fi. Hope Gramma and Grandpa Dusty have a safe journey!! Prayers, hugs and lots of love!!! 🙂
