Year 2 – Week 45 – Day 2

Friday… no TGIF here. Friday means I get to sleep on a cot and take care of Brendan through the night.
Brendan had an extra therapy session this morning and did pretty well. He is still on 4L.

We got a lot of rain this afternoon. Trevor loves to go out and play in it.

Brendan loves the water, but he loves Trevor being silly even more. He can’t be let loose to play in the rain yet.

Once he was warm and dry, Trevor had his new favorite afternoon snack: Honey Nut Cheerios and vanilla Silk milk.

It is a challenge every day to survive the toddler outbursts, and I am so tired by the end of the day!

  1. Good morning from the Lake House!! I woke up feeling pretty crummy and can’t sleep…….then my thoughts went to you….when you feel crummy your household keeps moving forward, no one stops, so you can catch your breath, or snooze on the couch, until you can function again. That’s part of being a Mom, but the added need for vigilance over Brendan’s care does add another layer to all of that! May God bless you Tiffanie and Bill!! You are amazing parents!! Life will get easier, the boys will mature, you will be able to “snooze on the couch” and you will look back and never figure just how you made it through these few years…but you have!! And your boys are beautiful!!! They are flourishing with your love and care!! Hoping that Brendan continues his forward progress and Trevor has more time to play in the rain! Prayers, love and big hugs!! 🙂

  2. Good for Brendan being down to 4ltrs, even a little improvement is great. Trevor in the rain is so funny and he seems to just love running around, love it when he runs under the area the seems to be coming down really hard. Tif, I hope you got some sleep on the cot and got up this morning refreshed. Take care of yourself.

  3. We had a pretty wild thunderstorm pass through here yesterday, it’s still overcast and gray. Trevor, reminded me of a time when the rain was fun, then I get to the closeup of Bill and Brendan, and that big smile on Brendan’s face was all I needed to light up the day. I already miss being there.

  4. I am with Trevor – playing in the rain is the best! Hopefully when we are able to visit again, Li’l B will be ready to play in the rain with us too (or if not the rain, given how little it comes, the hose!).

  5. We had no power for 17 hours! So, at the moment, thunderstorms with high wind are not my friends! 🙂
It looks like Trevor was having a blast in the rain! Brendan looks so happy to see the silliness. Soon it will be his turn to stomp in the puddles! 🙂
Trevor looks so cute eating his O’s! His technique is adorable…open wide, slurp the milk, and catch the stray O on his lip with his tongue!
    Lots of love and hugs,
    Gramma xxxx
